In order to apply to the M.A. in National Security Studies Program you must apply to both the university and the program itself.

Graduate Admission Requirements

You must:

1. have completed a four year college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association;
2. be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended;
3. have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted; and
4. satisfactorily meet the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe.

When submitting the CSUSB graduate application by mail make sure to include:

1. Forms A&B, located in APPLICATION INFORMATION: THE CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY booklet, along with your or check or money order for the application fee in the envelope provided in the booklet. Make sure the check or money order is payable to California State University.

(a) On Form A, item 10A, enter major code: 22102

(b) On Form B, item 11A, enter degree: M.A.

Major: National Security Studies2. Two official transcripts from each college or university (including senior service schools and colleges) you attended.
